Just finished a 20-mile race with my younger son. Went pretty well, but if we’re going to be serious about this, we’ll need better suspension on the bikes.

Rog and I thought it was going to be a smooth ride through the sage.  It turned out to be 20 miles of  hell.  Every inch of the course was tough.  The only time you could take a breath was when we stopped.  From hills to rocks to boulder to mud to sand, we rode it all.  We finished though, us and the TW’s.  We were limited by our bikes though.  The power was fine, we just needed more suspension.
Now that looks like fun. Roof of Africa next for you guys?
